Emporia’s off-peak chargers can help lower electric rates for all Mainers by leveling the load on the electric grid. The chargers operate normally during off-peak hours and automatically pause your charging during peak hours (5:00pm to 9:00pm Monday-Friday). If you need to charge during peak hours, you can use your Emporia App to override the default for the day. Efficiency Maine offers a $300 instant discount to eligible Maine residents.
